Return and Refund Policy

Furniture City & Mattress wants every customer to be confident before making a purchase. Because furniture and mattresses are large items that may be delivered, assembled, opened, used, or specially ordered, returns are limited and must be approved by our team.

Please review this policy before purchasing.

7-day return window

Return requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your item. After 7 days, all sales are final unless there is a verified damage, defect, or wrong-item issue reported according to this policy.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused and in new condition
  • In its original packaging when applicable
  • Free from stains, odors, pet hair, damage, wear, or signs of use
  • Complete with all parts, accessories, manuals, tags, and hardware
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
  • Approved by Furniture City & Mattress before being returned

Items returned without approval may be refused.

Final sale items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Mattresses that have been opened, used, or removed from protective packaging
  • Pillows, bedding, mattress protectors, and other personal-use items
  • Clearance, closeout, floor model, scratch-and-dent, or as-is items
  • Special orders, custom orders, and items ordered specifically for a customer
  • Assembled, installed, altered, damaged, or used items
  • Delivery, setup, assembly, shipping, and service fees

Customers are responsible for return transportation or return shipping unless the return is due to an approved damage, defect, or wrong-item issue caused by Furniture City & Mattress.

Damages, defects, or wrong items

Please inspect your order at delivery or pickup. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue.

To help us resolve the issue, please provide your name, order information, photos of the item, photos of the packaging if available, and a description of the problem.

Furniture City & Mattress may offer repair, replacement, exchange, store credit, refund, or another reasonable solution depending on the issue and product availability.

Delivery and pickup orders

Please inspect furniture before signing for delivery or accepting pickup when possible. If you notice damage during delivery, tell the delivery team right away and contact the store.

Damage reported after delivery may be harder to verify, so prompt notice is required.

Exchanges and store credit

If a return is approved, Furniture City & Mattress may offer an exchange, store credit, or refund depending on the condition of the item and the reason for return.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 10 business days. Your bank, card issuer, or financing provider may take additional time to post the refund.
